Terms of Service
Welcome to the Jewish Arts website. By using this website, purchasing tickets or registering for an event through the website, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. About Jewish Arts
Jewish Arts provides information about Jewish arts, culture, music and related events and activities. References to "Jewish Arts", "we", "us" or "our" in these Terms mean the organisation responsible for operating this website and the relevant event.
2. Website use
You may use this website for lawful purposes and to obtain information about Jewish Arts and its events.
You must not use the website in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or interfere with the website or its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on the website is accurate and current. However, event details, dates, times, venues, performers and other information may occasionally change.
3. Event bookings and tickets
Where online bookings are available, tickets or registrations may be purchased through the website.
When you complete a booking, you are responsible for providing accurate information, including your name, contact details and any information required to process your booking.
A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and a booking confirmation or ticket has been issued.
Tickets may be subject to additional conditions specific to an individual event. Any such conditions will be displayed at the time of booking.
Tickets are generally valid only for the event, date and session specified on the ticket.
4. Payment processing
Online payments are processed using third-party payment services, including eWAY and other trusted payment providers that we may use from time to time.
Payment card details are processed through the relevant payment provider and are not intended to be stored by Jewish Arts on its website.
Payment processing is subject to the terms and security arrangements of the relevant payment provider. eWAY states that its payment services operate within the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) framework.
We do not accept responsibility for interruptions or failures in a third-party payment service, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist you if a payment or booking problem occurs.
5. Event changes and cancellations
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to an event, including changes to the date, time, venue, program or performers.
If an event is cancelled or significantly changed, we will provide information about available options, including refunds where required by law or otherwise offered by us.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
6. Refunds
Unless otherwise stated for a particular event, our refund and cancellation arrangements will be specified as part of the event booking information.
Where a refund is required by law, we will provide the applicable refund or other remedy.
Where an event is cancelled or significantly changed by us, we will communicate the available refund arrangements to affected ticket holders.
7. Event attendance
You are responsible for complying with reasonable directions given by event organisers and venue staff while attending an event.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask a person to leave an event where there is a reasonable basis to do so, including where their behaviour creates a safety, security or significant disruption concern.
8. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, music-related material and other original content, is owned by or licensed to Jewish Arts or the relevant copyright owner.
You may view and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit website content without appropriate permission.
