FRIDAY 20 JUNE 2025, Adelaide
Our first day together. We encounter music we'll take on the road, sing on Shabbat, and share back at home.
* 9:00am - 4:30pm Sign in, welcome, singing sessions all together and in 'Instant Choirs', lunch, more singing
* 4:45 - 6:00pm Free time
* 6:00 - 9:15pm Musical Shabbat service, including Rabbi Salzman's installation ceremony
* 7:15 - 9:00pm pre-dinner drinks, dinner; speaker - Steve Knopoff, Z'mirot, Israeli dancing
SATURDAY 21 JUNE 2025, Adelaide
A gentle day.
* 8:45am - 1:30pm A musical Shabbat service, together with the Beit Shalom Choir, then a Kiddush Lunch.
* 1:30pm - 3:30pm A Big Sing, then a range of choices from music to wine-tasting.
* 3:30pm - 6:00pm Free time
* 6:00 - 9:15pm Havdalah, buffet dinner, a Showcase by the Beit Shalom Choir, and the ever-popular Talent Show!
SUNDAY 22 JUNE 2025, Adelaide
Part 1 comes to a close, leading into Part 2 after a break.
* 9:30am - 12:30 pm Lots of singing, after breakfast on your own.
* 12:30 - 1:30pm Final lunch for Part 1, at Beit Shalom. We farewell Cantor Michel Laloum, Ido Sagir and the departing participants.

SUNDAY 22 JUNE 2025, Adelaide
We welcome Kelly Shepard and the new participants joining us for Part 2.
* 3:00 - 3:30pm Sign-in, welcome, snack, briefing on this part of the program
* 3:30 - 6:30pm Big Sing, Instant Choir sessions
* 6:45 - 9:00pm Pre-dinner drinks, dinner, a little singing, and instructions for the next day.
MONDAY 23 JUNE 2025, Adelaide to Port Augusta
The journey into the Outback begins gently. A mild drive gives us a taste of what is to come. The focus of our time in Port Augusta is our encounter with the Barngarla community. By now we will know a lot more about them.
*8:00 - 9:00am Breakfast on your own, checkout from hotel and go to assembly point.
*9:15 - 1:00pm Bus departs from hotel. Briefings, Short pit stop in Port Wakefield. Lunch boxes on the bus
*1:00 - 2:20pm "Flashmob" at The Wharf, check in to the Standpipe Hotel, get settled
*2:20 - 5:00pm Afternoon tea, Big Sing and Instant Choir sessions
*5:00 - 6:00pm Free time
*6:00 - 7:00pm Dinner at The Standpipe
*7:15 - 9:30pm An Evening of Musical Fellowship and Celebration of Language with Barngarla community guests at the Cultural Centre. Supper.
*9:30pm Bus returns to hotel
TUESDAY 24 JUNE 2025, Port Augusta to Coober Pedy
Today's drive is longer, and takes us further into the heart of Australia. Coober Pedy is like no other place on earth. Expect the unexpected.
*7:00 - 8:00am Breakfast at The Standpipe Hotel
*8:15 - 9:15am Big Sing, preparing for tonight's very different singing experience. Check out and go to assembly point.
*9:30 - 4:00pm Bus drive to Coober Pedy with onboard snacks and a lunch stop at Glendambo
*4:00 - 6:00pm Check into The Opal Inn. Free time.
*6:00 - 6:45pm Early dinner and off to the Underground Serbian Church
*7:15 - 9:30pm An Evening of Musical Fellowship at the underground church. Open rehearsal/singing with local community, supper and drinks
*9:30 - 9:45pm Return to hotel
WEDNESDAY 25 JUNE 2025, Coober Pedy to Uluru
This is an epic day on the road, to maximise our time at Uluru. It's broken into chunks, but be brave. The team will be on hand with food, water, singing and amusements to get us over the NT state line in good shape.
*7:30 - 8:15am Breakfast at the Opal Inn
*8:15 - 11:30am Check out and go to assembly point. Bus departs from the hotel. Pit stop at Mala Roadhouse for a substantial morning tea, bus departs Mala Roadhouse
*11:30 - 2:00pm We cross into the Northern Territory.
*2:00 -3:30pm Erldunda Roadhouse: Late lunch. Meet the emus. A Big Sing.
*3:30 - 6:15pm Rest/free time. Information about Uluru. We're almost there.
*6:15 - 8:00pm We arrive at The Outback Hotel, Drinks and Canapes. Board coach for The Field of Light and have 30 minutes to enjoy this unique place while luggage is delivered to our rooms at the hotel.
*8:00pm Return to Outback Hotel for dinner and dessert.
THURSDAY 26 JUNE 2025, Uluru/Yulara
We will pull together the elements of our journey and experiences along the way, spend time with that famous rock, sing under the desert stars and reflect on our time together.
*6:30 - 8:15am Breakfast in The Bough House at the Outback hotel
*8:00 - 9:15am Bus departs for the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Stop to sing at the Talinguru Nyakinytjaku sunrise lookout. Bus departs for the Marla car park.
*9:30 - 10:45am Marla Walk at Uluru. Snacks, water.
*11:00am - 12:45pm Drive to Cultural Centre at Uluru. Free time at the Cultural Centre. 11am talk by ranger - optional.
*12:45 - 1:15pm Bus returns to Yulara
*1:15 - 4:00pm Free time at Yulara (there's lots to see and do!)
*4:00 - 5:30pm Assemble at The Bough House for a final Big Sing, then drinks and canapes
*5:30 - 6:15pm Walk to local lookout point for singing under the stars
*6:30pm Return to Outback Hotel for Dinner, singing and closing words
*9:00pm Official end of the Odyssey of Voices
