Judy Campbell is the Founding Director of Jewish Arts and Music Director at the North Shore Temple Emanuel since 1999, and has also served the Union for Progressive Judaism for two decades, conducting conference choirs, presenting workshops, founding the Regional Music Network and visiting regional congregations to assist in building music capacity. In 2007 she founded Jewish Arts, and has since led the organisation from strength to strength. She directed the biennial Australian Jewish Choral Festival from 2012 until 2022. Since 2001 she has been a member of the USA Guild of Temple Musicians, and her liturgical compositions have been selected for presentation at two of their conventions. She led the world-jazz group 'MOSAIC', which has completed six national and international tours and released 3 albums.
Pauline Lazarus retired as the Program and Events Manager at North Shore Temple Emanuel at the end of 2021. She continues as a volunteer at NSTE for the community well-being team and singing in the choir. She joined the Australian Jewish Choral Festival Team in 2014, as Administrator, and then Production Co-ordinator in 2016, when she also joined the board of Jewish Arts, taking on the role of Secretary. Her vast community experience includes being administrator of a synagogue Hebrew and Religion School. Pauline now also volunteers on the Central Coast where she and her husband Nigel, son Reuben and daughter-in-law Sam moved to in 2021.
Jocelyn Robuck is Executive Manager of the Union for Progressive Judaism and brings a wide range of experience to her role. She received a BSc in Medical Dietetics from the Ohio State University, co-owned and operated a kosher catering business for 11 years, worked as a proofreader and writer at the Australian Jewish News for five years, and served as an active rebbetzin and synagogue volunteer for more than 30 years. As Executive Manager, she provides a high level of support to the Executive and committees, leads and coordinates projects, and acts as point of contact for UPJ constituents and partners throughout the region and worldwide. She edits the UPJ's Weekly News & Drash, coordinates UPJ gatherings and conferences, manages the UPJ website and social media, and facilitates operational and strategic goals of the UPJ. Together with husband Rabbi Gary Robuck, she gets "naches" from three children and four grandchildren.
Gloria Bailen is a CPA working in the audit and risk industry. She comes from a family of musicians and dancers and admires the skill and talent of all artists. She was a member of the North Shore Temple Emanuel choir for some years, where she learned how music and Jewish identity are intertwined. She joined the Jewish Arts board in 2013 and previously held the position of secretary. Gloria provides governance and administrative support for programs and projects, and has undertaken the role of Tour Manager for The Odyssey of Voices.
